Sign-up sheet

Since our last sign-up post is getting a bit full, and I can't update it to include our revised rules, I'm making a second sign-up post.

If you'd like to rec at calufrax, you're signing up for two weeks during which you rec 4-10 fics archived at the Teaspoon. All eras, genres, characters, and pairings are welcome, but the fic must be archived at the Teaspoon.

For each rec, please fill out the handy form below:

Warnings: Please DO NOT warn for slash or het.

To sign up, just leave your user name below and what eras of who you'd be able to rec in (classic series, new series, Big Finish and so on). IMPORTANT: if you are signing up using a Facebook, Twitter, Google+, or other OpenID account, please leave an email address or other online method I can use to contact you (but not Facebook messaging, please; I have no Facebook account) to confirm your reccing period and send you a reminder.

Before you sign up, a few rules:

  • Fics should be well-written -- that is, the author should know how to spell, format, and the difference between "it's" and "its" -- and avoid attacking any particular character or pairing in a malicious way (character-bashing). If you have any questions about whether the fic you'd like to rec meets these criteria, feel free to PM me.

  • Please remember that this is a general community, containing fans of all era of the show, and keep that in mind when choosing your recs. Please do not rec the same pairing all week; variations of the same pairing (that is, for instance, just 10/Rose and 9/Rose); or the same characters. Focussing on one particular character is acceptable only if they are recced in a variety of pairings; with characters of varying eras; or in a variety of het, slash, and gen.

  • Please try not to rec fics that have been recced before. We have a handy list of tags you can use to check on the comm archives. ("Author" tags are most likely to catch previously recced fic.)

  • And worry not about tagging, your lovely mods will take care of that, yes.

  • Each fic rec should have its own post. This makes tagging much easier.

  • And finally ... please don't rec fic you've written yourself!

If you agree to rec, I'll PM you a reminder a few days before your weeks begin. Thanks for volunteering!
