...okay, I fail at writing early-20th-century British piffle in the grand style, but vvj5 is excellent at it. Her Wodehouse pastiche voice is second to none, and her plot pacing in this story is superb - like Wodehouse himself, she handily pulls together several unrelated plot threads into a hilarious climactic collision that then neatly sorts itself out by its own momentum and turns out better than it had any right to do.
