Recced because: Inspired by one of my icons, I went looking for stories about the Doctor and his relationship with jelly babies. This was the one that made me cackle the most, by another author who hasn't been previously recced here.
The blonde poked her head around the doorway. "Yes, Doctor?"
"Did you eat my jelly babies?" the Doctor asked, holding up an empty white bag.
"No, did you ask Adric?"
"He swears that he didn't. And, I don't remember finishing them myself."
Romana walked into the room and took the bag from him. "Are you sure?" she asked, examining the object. "Your memory isn't the best, you know."
"My memory is perfect," he said indignantly, straightening his jacket. "It's one reason I'm so amazing."
"Oh, certainly, Doctor. So tell me, if none of us ate them, where did they go?"
"A future me ate them?"
"Now, how could that be possible? The TARDIS would have alerted us."
