Recced because: This story is an amusing twist on the idea of a Ten/Donna relationship. In this case, Donna claims her main worry is that the aliens holding them prisoner will want her and the Doctor to have sex. It's refreshing to see the Doctor with a deflated ego from the thought that one of his companions might actually not be attracted to him. Best of all, Donna is the real star here, as she controls the situation from beginning to end.
“You’re relieved,” he stated. "About the not having sex part."
“Oh, hell yes.”
For some reason he found this mildly distressing. "Huh. Don't suppose it's 'cos you're shy?" She snorted at that. His brain gave a little twitch and not because it was afraid of being eaten. "You mean, you don’t — you’ve never — you’re not even a little bit --“
“A little bit what? Ohhh. Awww…” Her expression went soft with the sort of compassion that could turn to mockery any second. “I’m sorry. I'm not really attracted to you that way. You remind me too much of my old flatmate’s ferret, Slinky.”
